WHAT IS THE HEART?Heart simply means the inner person with its many functions.
People are not changed from the outside in; they must be changed from the inside out.
The highest joy of humanity comes from cultivating the deepest part of humanity, the heart.
When the heart is pure, then the vision is clear, and a person will see God.
WHAT IS A PURE HEART?
(1) Clean
(2) Unmixed
How can we maintain spiritual integrity?
(1) by being utterly honest
- (a) with God
- (b) with others
- (c) with ourselves
(2) by seeking to honor God alone
HOW CAN WE SEE GOD?
(1) through spiritual sight
(2) in His creation
(3) in circumstances
(4) in His Word
