For my friends who do not have access to the album we posted on Facebook, here's a recap of Mamaw's 90th Birthday Party. Probably more than you "never" wanted to know - LOL

The party invitation we posted on the bulletin board at the senior center and in the newspaper.

Our BIRTHDAY GIRL - Queen for a day!

Mamaw arriving and getting her birthday necklace. At least I didn't make her wear a dorky party hat! LOL

Her first look at the DVD started the memories (and the tears) flowing.

Mamaw loved the DVD (background) John made for her party.

Checking out the story boards before the guests begin arriving.

Aunt Ruby's son, Lewis Patterson and his sweet wife, Judith, are two of Mamaw's favorite people. They made her a cute picture with 90 shiny pennies. What a neat idea! Very creative!

Maggie had her Mamaw, her mother AND her sister all cracked up!

Edith and Gennett visiting with Helen Windham (niece). It was Helen's birthday too!

I think our Birthday Girl kinda liked being the center of attention!

Hugs were plentiful at the party. Here, Mamaw gets some lovin' from Perry Wayne (nephew-in-law) on one of the rare (if not only) times she sat down all day!

One of the many reasons everybody loves Edith - she keeps them laughing. Here, she was teasing Daddy James (Lisa's grandfather-in-law) about finding him a date from among her single girlfriends!

Event photographer, Lisa (aka-my darling daughter) and videographer, Dennis (aka-my sweet son-in-law) taking a short break and enjoying a laugh.

Sibs & Kids = L-R: Edith's brother, J.C. Mills (who had fallen the day before and banged up his face); her sister, Ruby Patterson; her middle child, (my sweet husband) Roy; the birthday girl herself; her brothers, Lee Edward and Reid Mills; her daughter, Gennett and her firstborn, James.

Ever the big sister - Mamaw keeping her youngest sibling straightened out.

Mamaw and her BFF - Mrs. Smithey

Race and Hallie REALLY enjoyed helping with the clean-up.
