HUNGRY HEARTS
HUNGER:
Believers who hunger and thirst for righteousness give evidence of
HOLINESS:
Holiness begins in the heart.
Holiness involves wholeness.
Holiness satisfies your inner being and causes you to become dissatisfied with sin.
We must grow in our love for holiness.
We seek holiness because we love God and want to glorify Him.
Holiness conforms you to Christ and develops your own individuality.
HAPPINESS:
Happiness comes because we are holy (set apart/sanctified). As we walk in holiness, happiness results from
(1) being spared the pain of sin (and its consequences)
(2) purifying our hearts and minds
(3) and gaining an appetite for the eternal.
